We’re On The Move! The Exciting Road To Aerohive’s New Headquarters

Sure, change can be tough. But it’s not so bad when change means the Aerohive family gets to work together in one location again; or we get to enjoy eating lunch on a patio nestled in lush greenery; or we can take a break and shoot some hoops together. (Working on your 3-point shot is very important when you live in the Bay Area, home of the Golden State Warriors!)

So what’s changed? This week, we are relocating our headquarters from Sunnyvale, Calif. to a modern facility just a few miles away in Milpitas, Calif. We’re still in the heart of Silicon Valley, but in a modern, more collaborative environment.

We are all really excited about this move. For one thing, moving into a larger space means consolidating our regional offices. We recently celebrated our 10th anniversary, and during that decade, we grew organically and our 250 employees based at headquarters were spread across adjacent industrial buildings in Sunnyvale. Now we are under one roof where we can collaborate spontaneously, and quickly scoot between meetings.

The new environment also evokes Aerohive’s core values of the company: innovation, teamwork, and customer focus. This is important as it’s a theme that motivates the Hive every day.
“To continue to grow our company, we needed a space where we could collaborate, explore new ideas, and truly innovate for our customers,” said David Flynn, CEO, Aerohive Networks. “I look forward to seeing the work that will come from our new office. We look forward to bringing great cloud networking to the area!”
The new building is part of a newly constructed campus with amenities such as an onsite gym, café, and plenty of outdoor space with sand volleyball and basketball courts. Check out the photos below for a glimpse of the Aerohive journey.
