Learning About 802.11ax At Aerohive HQ
We enjoyed having our customers and partners join us for a free learning opportunity yesterday. Our guests learned about the upcoming 802.11ax standard as well as how to setup 802.1x security and authentication.

We were also joined by Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ from This Week in Enterprise Tech.
I’m at @Aerohive in Milpitas, checking out the latest gear and hearing about their high-density AX deployment plans…
Interesting so far.

Evidently, @Aerohive uses machine learning in their APs to do things like changing the polarity of antennas and jumping channels depending on the RF environment.
An AP that LEARNS what works best in its space…
I want to see THAT in action.

David Flynn, CEO of @Aerohive since 2007, stopped by to see how we were doing with the training…
He’s sharing a story about running enterprise-class wireless security at home. (I think he and @leolaporte would get along just fine!)

Over in Nashville, our customers and partners learned about the Aerohive 2018 roadmap.
We had a good @Aerohive roadmap discussion today with @RichKorb and several customers. 2018 is going to be a great year! pic.twitter.com/SN2HmEMkIa

We love spending time with customers and partners and help them understand where the Wi-Fi industry is heading, and the role we are playing. As we head into 2018, 802.11ax is on the horizon. We’re excited about the future of the industry, and we hope you are as well!
