Aerohive Launches New Regional Data Center in South Korea
Aerohive has always aimed to give IT departments a choice in how they deploy our products and services. Organizations have different requirements, and we want our products to be flexible enough to fit every scenario.
Aerohive was one of the early leaders in cloud-managed networking. Even in those early days, some customers were unsure about what the cloud would mean for their business and the security implications around it. IT managers have always been able to decide between HiveManager in their own data center or in our public cloud. The choice has always been up to the customer!
For customers in South Korea, they now can have an additional choice. They can use HiveManager Public Cloud and have the data remain in their country. The in-country version of HiveManager Public Cloud includes all of our latest features like HiveManager AI, Machine Learning, and Client 360.
Moving to HiveManager Public Cloud will allow customers to use all of Aerohive’s great features in a turn-key package. For distributed/multi-site organizations, they will be able to manage all of them in a single interface without having to deal with complex networking solutions. For single building organizations, they’ll have one less piece of their infrastructure they’ll have to maintain.
It’s important to note that the country your HiveManager Public Cloud is located in doesn’t impact network speeds locally. Depending on the industry and the location, certain customers might have to keep all data in-country for compliance reasons. Aerohive currently operates data centers in these locations:
For existing customers in South Korea, who are ready to move to HiveManager Public Cloud, our professional support team can walk you through each step in the process! You can learn more about the new data center in our press release.
