Aerohive Continues to Improve Business Performance and End-to-End User Experience with the Addition of World-Class Industry Veterans

Over the last six months, Aerohive has welcomed dozens of new hires across various departments, making us a stronger team. Included in this hard-hitting pack, we have hired three world-class leaders in the industry that will help evolve Aerohive’s sales strategy and go-to-market execution to strengthen relationships with our existing customers and partners, and generate new business opportunities as well.

In order of the hire-date, we’re excited to announce:

  • Paul McNulty has joined us as Sr. Vice President of Customer Success, Renewals & Licensing/Entitlement
  • Ted Watson has joined us as Vice President of Hospitality Solutions
  • Mark Dellavalle has joined Aerohive as Vice President of Global Systems Engineering

The Wi-Fi and Networking industry is certainly changing, and Aerohive is at the center of that change. With our industry-first shipments of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access points, the first major WLAN vendor to achieve ISO/IEC 27001 certification and with the release of our new cloud-managed Network Access Control (NAC) solution Aerohive A3, we are well positioned to guide customers into the future, ran by software-enabled services with AI and Machine Learning toolsets.

Paul McNulty will be leading our vision toward serving customers on their journey with Aerohive, beginning with initial deployment renewals and software licensing.

“The shift from Client Services to Customer Success is marked by our focus on customers achieving their desired outcomes.  We are making many changes in our support and services offerings to help customers quickly achieve their goals with Aerohive as their strategic technology partner.  Aerohive has always been customer-focused and we appreciate our customers’ loyalty.  We are focused on customer delight and recognize this isn’t always easily achieved.  We are committed to rewarding our customers and partners with self-service tools through an updated support portal and elevating their case experience in the pursuit of total customer satisfaction at every touch point.

Ted Watson will be driving our hospitality strategy, now fueled by AI-powered insights and the data-driven guest experience.

“What got me excited to join Aerohive is the overall product direction and evolution towards software-enabled services using cloud-based network management, powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The capabilities and features driven by an AI-driven network will and is changing the hospitality landscape. It’s not just about commodity Wi-Fi and switches.  I didn’t want to go to “just another” Wi-Fi company, I saw and completely bought into the vision that Aerohive is truly a solutions innovator.”

Mark Dellavalle will be leading our systems engineering team globally to ensure customers and partners receive industry leading consultative expertise and technical sales engagement.

“I’m excited that we have the opportunity to build the best Cloud Networking Systems Engineering team in the industry and put Aerohive front and center as the market looks to cloud companies for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.”

We are a New Aerohive. We’re excited about Paul, Ted and Mark, proven visionaries in our industry, who will bring their leadership and successful track records to the Aerohive team. More importantly, we know our customers and partners will love what they will bring to the table. It’s going to be a great 2019 and beyond!
