Network Management QA Engineer (China)

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in system requirement analysis and review for new HiveManager features
• Understand user scenarios and evaluate the design correctness and assess risks in test
• Define test plan, design test cases
• Be able to set up test beds that may have complex network topology
• Carry out feature functional verification test and system test plans
• Make sound judgment in selecting test cases to cover regression test of existing features
• Design and exercise performance and stress test with proper software and/or hardware tools
• In-depth trouble-shooting for bugs or customer issues to provide meaningful debug information to help developers resolve problems
• Follow Aerohive QA process to report test progress and results correctly and timely

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 1 + years minimum experience as an QA engineer in telecommunication and networking enterprises
• Experience in network device management software testing
• Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP etc.
• Experience with Linux system and server setup
• Strong problem solving capability
• Strong communication skill, team player
• Well spoken and written English
• Working experience of network product management system testing is a plus
• Experience with WEB based application software testing is a plus
• Experience with database such as mysql, postgres etc is a plus
