Feng Deng
General Partner/Co-Founder of Northern Light Venture Capital
Feng has more than 15 years of technical and managerial experience in the computer, communication and data networking industries. In 1997, he co-founded NetScreen Technologies and served as the Vice President of Engineering, Chief Strategy Officer and Board member. The company was later acquired by Juniper Networks for $4 billion in 2004 (NASDAQ: JNPR). In 2002, Feng was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst & Young and also received the Innovator of the Year award by CRN in 2003. Prior to NetScreen, he worked at Intel Corporation. Feng holds a MS degree in computer engineering from the University of Southern California, a MSEE/BSEE from Tsinghua University and a MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. Feng is the Chairman of Tsinghua Executive Entrepreneur Club (TEEC) and serves on the Board of Directors of Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association (HYSTA). He is also a member of the Tsinghua Foundation Board of Trustees and serves as an adviser at the USC School of Engineering. Feng currently holds five U.S. patents in computer system architecture and IC design.

David Flynn
CEO and President of Aerohive Networks Inc.
David Flynn has more than 15 years experience in the networking and security industries working with both software and hardware products. He was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at NetScreen Technologies from 1999 to 2004 where he drove marketing, product and corporate strategy leading to a successful IPO and the eventual $4 billion sale of the company to Juniper Networks. At Juniper, David served as Vice President of Products for the Security Products Group. Prior to NetScreen he worked at 3Com Corporation for 8 years, where he held various marketing and product management positions including Vice President of Marketing for the architecture and software operation in the Client Access Business Unit. David has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College, Williamstown, MA.

Changming Liu
Founder and CTO
Changming Liu is the co-founder of Aerohive Networks, Inc. Changming has been a key architect and technical manager for over 15 years in the Data Networking industry. Prior to founding Aerohive, he was a Distinguished Engineer at Juniper networks. Previously he held other key positions with Nortel Networks, Vistar Telecommunications, and NetScreen Technologies. Changming holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in Beijing and received his Masters in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Queen's University in Canada. Changming is the author of more than ten Networking Patents.

Matt Murphy
Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers
Matt Murphy is a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; he joined in 1999. His focus areas of investment include mobile applications and communications/computing infrastructure. Matt is either a Director or works closely with the management teams of Autonavi, Dash, Pelago, M2Z, IPUnity, Kodiak Networks, RGB Networks, Stoke, Ocarina, Xsigo, and eASIC. Previously Matt was a board observer at Google (from initial investment to IPO) and director at Peakstream (acquired by Google). Prior to KPCB, Matt led product management at a semiconductor start-up (Netboost acquired by Intel), worked at Sun Microsystems where he led business development for the Network Systems Group and was a Product Line Manager for networking platforms. He also worked in strategic and technical consulting for a number of years at Booz, Allen, & Hamilton and Accenture. Matt holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Todd Rulon-Miller
Founding Partner at Apogee Venture Group
Todd Rulon-Miller is a founding partner of Apogee Venture Group, an early stage venture investment and consulting firm, and a former senior vice president of worldwide sales and services at Netscape Communications. During his time at Netscape, Todd built the company’s sales team to 800 employees operating in more than 30 countries and increased revenue to more than $600 million. During his tenure, in August, 1995, Netscape completed the then-most-successful initial public offering on the NASDAQ. Prior to his role at Netscape, Todd served in executive roles at First Data Resources, IBM (NYSE: IBM), NeXT, Inc., Software Alliance, and Tandem Computers. Additionally he has served on the Board of Directors of Active software (IPO: ASWX); Epiphany (IPO: EPNY); and Oblix Software (Purchased by Oracle Corporation), and currently serves on the Board of Crowd Science. Todd holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.

Chris Schaepe
Managing Director, Lightspeed Venture Partners
Chris is a founder of Lightspeed, covering infrastructure technologies, digital media and services. He has seventeen years of venture capital experience and four years of operating experience. Prior to Lightspeed, Chris operated in corporate finance and capital markets roles at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he was a software engineer at IBM.
Chris has frequently been named to the Forbes Midas List of top venture capital investors. He serves on two public company boards, Riverbed and eHealth.
Chris holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University.
